Emerging Rugby

Rugby at Marlborough has continued to progress this year with some excellent work and commitment from Mr Vivian.

The Year 7 team came 3^rd overall in the emerging county rugby finals and have been put through to the regional finals to compete against schools from across the Eastern region.

The Year 9 team had a far tougher competition and played really well against some strong opposition. They had only played one competitive fixture prior to the finals however they progressed and developed exceptionally well during the four games they played.

Virtual Multi Skills

The KS1 and KS 2 Virtual Multi-skills competition has taken off in our cluster with Mount Pleasant Lane, How Wood, Killigrew and Mandeville all taking part and registering scores.

Year 13 students have been back into Mount Pleasant Lane to help run the rotation of activities and record the scores of all students involved. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the students taking part all seemed to be enjoying the activities.

Go Scheme

This term we have had coaches coming in as part of the Go Scheme to run a number of sessions during KS4  PE lessons. These have included boxercise, core stability, water aerobics and circuit training. The feed back has been positive from all students that have been involved.
