Competition

A busy term has seen a great deal of activity and fund raising taking place at all the schools! Verulam hosted the BeauSandVer Year 5 and 6 Sportshall Athletics; it was a very exciting event with some very close races, in the end Fleetville Junior qualified for the Partnership finals later in the term. Fleetville Junior didn't manage to win but all competitors showed an improvement and the Year 5s will be raring to go next year!

Multi-skills

This term has also seen a continuation of the KS2 Virtual Multi-skills at Fleetville Junior and Camp Schools. This gave the students a chance to show their skills and also gave the leaders from Year 5 and 6 more experience of helping to run the events.

Sports Relief Fun Run

Both Fleetville Junior and Fleetville Infants organised a Sport Relief Fun Run on March 19^th with students from both schools involved. Fleetville Infants managed to raise £580, as students did laps of the playground dressed as sports stars, while at Fleetville Junior School, the students completed a one mile course of the field (some students managed to do two or three miles!) and also competed in a football penalty shoot out and netball shooting competition. They managed to raise £550. Congratulations to both schools.
