PINEWOOD BLF PROJECT - Summer 2008

Pinewood School were delighted to add Cheerleading with pom-poms and Archery to their programme of Out of School Hours Learning activities earlier this term.

Organised by the Hertford and Ware School Sports Partnership and funded by the Big Lottery, pupils from Key stage 3 have enjoyed sessions run by Elite Fitness, Hertford Company of Archers and 'Hydrashapeme' based at Hertford Rugby club. The project has such a success that Pinewood School are now looking at the possibility of buying their own Archery equipment and pom-poms, so that all the pupils will be able to use them in curriculum time as well as after school.
