Gymnastics

 

As part of my SSCo role I have been going into Sauncy Wood and St Paul's Walden to help staff with gymnastics. Most of the work focussed around gymnastics equipment and apparatus and how to use it safely with the students. They thoroughly enjoyed their lessons and experimenting on the equipment.

 

District Gymnastics Display

 

 For the first time St George's entered into the district gymnastics display held at Sir John Lawes.

 

 

 

Top Link Conference

 

Four students Rachel Foster, Fred Gulliford, Izzie Price and Jack Singleton attended the conference in March. They had a great day and are now planning the Primary Rural Schools festival to be held in June.

 

Clubs and Activities

 

St George's have also benefited from the big lottery fund to be able to have extra clubs and activities, such as Street Dance. Tennis Club, Pilates and Multi Sports. These have been a great success and the students have thoroughly enjoyed them.

 

Year 5 and 6 Sportshall Athletics

 

Well done to Kimpton primary for winning the St George's cluster Athletics. They are now representing us at the partnership finals.
