Sandringham's Young Ambassasors Eddie Gray and Jess Gull, along with two Year 9 sports leaders Niamh Lawson and Luke Hobbs, attended the TOP link

festival. They also met Tom Davis the GB Judo player, learned about leadership skills and how to run a tournament. They are now busy planning for a Mini-

Olympics that will take place during National Sports Week.

 

 

Speed Stacking County Final

Sandringham Sports Leaders attended the Year 4 County Speed Stacking Final, helping to officiate and encourage the participants. They also met Speed Stacking Guru Ron Parker.

Girls' Basketball

 

Twenty girls from Sandrinl ham have been attending the after school basketball coaching sessions funded by the Partnership. The girls have really developed their skills and have competed at tournaments against other schools. They have been coached by two Year 10 boys: Jake Awe and Dreevesh Gooheeram.

 

 

Virtual Multi-Skills

 

 

Students from Sandridge and Wheatfields took part in the Year 3 and 4 virtual Multi-skills tournaments. At both schools Year 6 leaders helped to run the events.

 

 

Gifted and Talented

 

Year 6 and 7 students from Sandringham, Sandridge and Wheatfields Juniors were invited to attend the academy as they excelled in one of the five abilities within the PE context: Physical, Social, Personal, Cognitive and Creative. They then spent five weeks developing these abilities and enjoyed working with students from other schools who were on their level.

 

 

Cheerleading

 

Year 7 girls attended the Saracens led Cheerleading Breakfast Club. Girls were arriving at school at 7.30 am to start their leaping and shouting with pom poms!
